At the foot of Vorras, in the center of Old Agios Athanasios is the Arolithos-Kaimaktsalan guesthouse.
Built with great care following the architecture of the Macedonian mansions, it offers the visitor moments of relaxation close to nature, the mountain and the snow.
It is a small guest house of the group that you find right in the center of the village of Old Agios Athanasios, thus giving the possibility to the visitor to explore on foot.
It has the central living room, the breakfast area and four rooms, three two-storey with a fireplace in the living room and one double with an independent entrance.
OUR HOSTEL
THE ROOMS
The guest house consists of four rooms. Three on the first floor, which are duplexes – maisonettes and sleep up to three adults, and one on the ground floor, which is a simple double room sleeping up to two adults. Each room has its own character. The two-story apartments have a living room with an energy-efficient fireplace, a refrigerator, a TV, a bathroom with a bathtub or a hydromassage shower, and a bedroom with an internal balcony and a view of the fireplace.
All rooms are made with natural materials such as wood and stone, combining tradition with luxury. All have independent underfloor heating. The handmade furniture and the careful decoration of the hostel aspire to satisfy even the most demanding customers. The guest house is built based on E.O.T specifications and its category is 3 keys.
Room-Maisonette 1st
It is a 22 sq.m. room, with a balcony and a view of the center and the shopping center of the village. It has a living room with a three-seater sofa, an energy-efficient fireplace, a refrigerator, a 32′ TV, a bathroom with a hydromassage shower and on the first floor a bedroom with an internal balcony and a view of the fireplace.
Room-Maisonette 2nd
It is a 20 sq.m. room, with Macedonian bay windows that have eight windows in them and a view of the center of the village. It has a living room with a two-seater sofa, an energy-efficient fireplace, a refrigerator, a 32′ TV, a bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub and an upstairs bedroom with an internal balcony and a view of the fireplace.
Room-Maisonette 3rd
It is a 22 sq.m. room, with Macedonian bay windows that have eight windows in them and a view of the mountain and the church of Agios Athanasios. It has a living room with a two-seater sofa, a two-seater couch, an energy fireplace, a refrigerator, a 32′ tv, a bathroom with a hydromassage shower and on the first floor a bedroom with an internal balcony and a view of the fireplace.
Double Room 4
It is a Standard 15 sq.m. double room with autonomy from the rest of the hostel due to its external entrance. It is equipped with an anatomical Queen size bed, a 32′ tv and a bathroom with shower.
